Most importantly, we would like to begin this update with a thank you to our clients for their understanding during these difficult times. We have been overwhelmed by how they have made every effort to support our new ways of working and continued to support us. Likewise, colleagues have been asked to frequently adapt in an ever moving environment and our gratitude extends to their efforts.
In light of recent COVID-19 announcements we wanted to update you as to how our offices are currently operating.
Following the ease of restrictions in August we moved on to stage 4 of our Covid-19 Resilience Plan from early September, carefully reintroducing some colleagues back into offices to offer further support. However, with government instructions changing towards the end of that month we were forced back into stage 3 of our plan, asking the majority staff to work from home again.
In line with the most recent Government Guidelines, many of our staff are operating from home. Whilst a reduced number of staff remain in the office to handle calls, all of our offices in England and Wales remain closed to the general public for the continued protection of our colleagues and the local communities. We encourage all correspondence to continue through telephone or email, a system that has been successfully working since March. Our Account Executives have been asked to avoid all non-essential meetings during any lockdown, but still welcome enquiries and are dealing with new business requests remotely.
Claims continue to be dealt with as quickly as possible, albeit in a more distanced manner than clients will have become used to over the years. Please rest assured that assisting to claims remains at the forefront of what we do and our staff will help as much as they can.
Should you need to contact us, we ask you continue to phone each of our offices as we are able to transfer your call to the necessary person.
It remains a difficult time for us all, please take care and stay safe.
