Monarch Airlines – Travel Insurance Advice

As you could expect, we have been inundated with phone calls from concerned clients this morning who are currently unsure of what to do following the announcement that Monarch has ceased trading.  It’s estimated that 110,000 holiday makers are stranded because of this, and our insurers have advised that the process that clients should follow in the event that a flight has been cancelled is as follows:

  • First option is that they will need to contact their travel provider
  • Second is to contact their Card supplier if paid by Credit Card
  • Final option is to contact the Travel Insurers
